He has done an MBBS from Government Medical College, Aurangabad, and a Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship from GMCH Aurangabad. Dr. Sharma has done DNB in General Surgery from (2008–2011) at Government General Hospital, Chandigarh under the able guidance of Dr. Sarabjit Singh.

Further he completed his DNB in Urology at the prestigious Asian Institute of Nephrology and Urology (AINU), Hyderabad.
