Health Care
Nutrition And Dietetics
The medical care would be incomplete if optimum nutrition is not given
to the patients. The Department of Nutrition and Dietetics plays a key
role in maintaining good health and speedy recovery of the patients.
The Dietician meets patients individually and helps them to understand
the need for therapeutic diets and provides a well-balanced,
nutritionally adequate and palatable diet for each patient. Diets are
prepared considering patients’ religion, eating habits, physical
conditions, and medical diagnosis.
Dietician counsels outpatients, referred by the consultants according to
their condition.
The department also provides a nutritious diet plan for improving
immunity and enhancing the quality of life according to the requirement
of the nutritive values of the patient.
